Our project TruMP-CARD (Truckee Meadows Project on Cardueline Avian Resource Distribution) continues to progress, with participation from citizen scientists including both graduate students and undergraduates at UNR, and local birders.We are attempting to learn more about Lesser Goldfinches in Reno, especially whether human-provided food in winter leads to increased or reduced survival over time. But more importantly, we are trying to increase interest in science and wildlife.
